Financial Banker - North Frisco
We’re looking for a Financial In-Store Banker for our financial center inside the H-E-B flagship store in Prosper.
As a Financial In-Store Banker (Financial Center Consultant II), you will work our members to find the best solutions to fit their financial needs and introduce them to the choices they have to do their banking in ways that are most convenient for them. We will look to you to create an outstanding member experience, expand relationships with EECU members and acquire new relationships by providing needs-based products and services. This position is considered a banker and will be performing in-store sales and important administrative activities.
The Financial Banker will support the locations in Frisco and Plano. The position needs to be flexible and easily transition between roles, and responsibilities. The Financial In-Store Banker performs a broad variety of member service functions such as opening business and consumer accounts using needs-based selling techniques, processing loan applications, solving operational issues and abiding by all related Federal and State rules and regulations.

Qualified candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:
- One to Three years’ experience in retail and/or financial industry or related field.
- Must be an excellent communicator both oral and written, knowledge of credit union products, and sales skills.
- Must have interpersonal skills, show empathy, active listening skills, effective communication, confidence, flexibility, and optimism.
-Able to work extended hours and multiple Saturdays. Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm, Closed Sundays. Flexibility in working other financial centers whenever required or requested by management. Hourly rate position with monthly incentives.
-Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
-Perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.
-Effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
-Professional written and oral communication skills
-Organization, time management and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Handle complex and difficult interactions
