Darryl D Schmidt Lectureship on Religion i Public Life

Jonathan L. Walton, a prominent scholar of African-American religion, noted author and respected minister is coming to Texas Christian University for the 2015 Daryl D. Schmidt Lectureship on Religion in Public Life. In his presentation "The Sun Do Move," Rev. Dr. Walton will provide insightful commentary on ethical biblical interpretations in competing cultural contexts as well as an inside look at the connection among religion, politics and the media.
