Scot came to the Longhorn Council in February 2020. Before that he served his career as a professional Scouter in the Denver Area Council since September 2009. Scot is a product of the Scouting program and is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor in the order of the Arrow. He attained his doctoral degree from California Southern University (Talent Management), graduate degrees in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management (Touro University International), and Military Strategy and Operational Art (Marine Corps University), and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Mississippi State University).  He seeks inclusive and innovative solutions for all stakeholders, allowing organizations to develop and grow while providing a positive return on investments. Dr. Nichols is a driven individual with a well-documented record of teaching, mentoring, counseling, research, safety, leadership, and coaching, to name a few. He uses his influence as a leader and educator to help individuals and businesses reach their full potential.

Juan is a native of Fort Worth and an entrepreneur focused on establishing a local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The last 10+ years, he has successfully led strategic sales operations in the luxury, international business, and financial industries, which equip him with a valuable perspective in business. His next milestone is to accelerate the North Texas economy by helping small businesses access capital and funding for their next big move!
