National Voter Registration Day

Tuesday, September 27, is National Voter Registration Day and we’re all set to encourage our FWISD students at least 18 years and older to get registered to vote. Eastern Hills HS, like most other high schools in the district, will be giving students an opportunity to register during the school day. However if our students miss the opportunity during school, we have planned a Student Voter Registration Drive after school hours (from 3pm – 6pm) for the eastside community that will be inclusive of our parents, neighbors and alumni as well.
 
Eastside Alliance has partnered with 97.9 The Beat to make this a fun and informational event inviting anyone in the Fort Worth community who is eligible to vote, but not yet registered, to join our students in getting registered so that come election day they can exercise their right to vote and make their voice heard.
