Chamber Day at MLCC

The FWMBCC Day at the Minority Leaders and Citizens Council this month will feature four people close to the Chamber who will focus on the economic development vision for our community while celebrating a longtime business that continues to give back.

Speakers at the noon event February 15 at Community Christian Church will be Sultan Cole, a minister, businessman and new chairman of the FWMBCC board of directors; Michael McClinton, director of the Business Assistance Center, Robert Sturns, economic development director for the City of Fort Worth; and Hiawatha Williams of the Williams Chicken franchise.

Williams, who’s celebrating his 30th anniversary as a franchisee, will speak to the economic development opportunities as a franchisee with Williams Chicken. The other three panelists will talk about economic development and any updates in their particular silo, with Cole giving his economic development vision for the Black Chamber.
